Engineered Garments x Keen SS21 Release

Following last year’s Spring/Summer 2020 collaboration with KEEN, Engineered Garments has once again tapped the Portland, Oregon based footwear company to create a style that balances function with modern design. Now available at the Nepenthes New York store and website.

This collaboration is based on KEEN's iconic open-air shoe, the UNEEK Slides, which consists of two cords and an open-back sole. The upper, which is traditionally fabricated with elastic braids, has been changed to feature a classic leather material. The shoes are also asymmetrically designed, a signature component of Engineered Garments’ style, with the left and right shoes featuring suede and smooth leather respectively, and the cords in each shoe featuring differing leather materials. This arrangement combines functional design with individuality.

The leather LWG-certified, meaning that it is produced by environmentally friendly tanning, highlighting KEEN’s focus on sustainable efforts. The UNEEK slides are available in two colors, natural and black, and a wide range of sizes from ladies to men.
